✨ Dance of Wings is Here! ✨

Book cover of Dance of Wings by Jamie A. Waters with a banner that reads ‘Now Available!’—Book 5 in The Dragon Portal series, an epic fantasy romance featuring fae, dragons, and slow-burn love.

I’m thrilled to announce that Book 5 of The Dragon Portal series, Dance of Wings, officially released on June 19th, 2025! Woo hoo!!

This has been one of the most emotional books for me to write—full of secrets, dragonfire, long-held grudges, and (of course) plenty of slow-burn romantic tension. 🐉💙

If you’ve been following Sabine’s journey, you know things have gotten messy—magic is unraveling, loyalties are fraying, and everyone has their own agenda. And let’s not even talk about the dragons. (Okay, maybe a little.)

In Dance of Wings, Sabine and her companions travel to the Sky Cities—once the home of the now-wingless aderyan, and now tightly controlled by dragons with more secrets than treasure hoards. One of those secrets? Sabine’s very presence threatens the delicate balance holding their world together.

But the dragons aren't the only ones watching her...

Cover of Dance of Wings by Jamie A. Waters alongside fantasy romance tropes: dangerous rescue missions, secret identity, court intrigue, forbidden love, dragons, wild magic, found family, divine power struggles, and chaotic pixie shenanigans.

What to Expect in Dance of Wings:

✅ A hidden relic tied to ancient winds

✅ Tension between dragons, fae, and those caught in between

✅ A slow-burn love tested by duty and desire

✅ Found family moments that might just break your heart

✅ Glimmers of the final battle to come

✅ LOTS of pixie shenanigans!

This book builds directly off the events in Shadows and Twilight, and it sets the stage for the series finale. If you’ve made it this far, buckle in. The wind is rising—and it’s time to fly.

Where to Get It:

You can grab your copy of Dance of Wings on your favorite platform:

Start the series with To Kill a Fae – an epic fantasy romance filled with fae, dragons, secrets, and the slowest of slow burns.

Thanks so much for being part of this journey! Whether you're a long-time fan or just discovering The Dragon Portal, I hope this book sweeps you off your feet—and maybe leaves a few scorch marks behind. 🐲✨

Until next time,

Jamie 💚
